incomplete application...

I did a stupid thing... and forgot to attach copy of GC in athe appl. Does this automatically result in application rejection? Or could it result in processing, with GC to be shown in person at a later (interview?) date?

If you have any experience, please let me know. Thanks.

P.S. - About one week has elapsed since I sent in my application to USCIS/Vermont Svc Ctr. by certified mail. Just rec'd delivery notification (over the weekend) from USPS.

I realized the day after i mailed my N-400 that I signed the wrong line!
Do I have to wait for them to reject it, or could I send a new form with an explanation letter?

I tried calling customer service, but that is hopeless until you get a receipt number back!
