Hi
I applied for my citizenship back june29 06. and i did my fingerprints. since that i did not get my interview date. many cases i know people already get there citizenship. i find out they send my name for background check. i been waiting from 7 months. is any body have an idea how long it take to be done. or any way i can ask or find help to make it done fast. because i m stuck in middle. and its making me so tence.
if any one know any idea please help out.

It should not take more than 6 months (180 days) for the name check clearance. Call the 1-800 number on your receipt notice and find out what action needs to be taken.
