No interview Letter

FP done 01/17 in San jose. No interview letter yet. What could be the reason? Desperately waiting to visit my father in India as he recently diagonised with ALS, a terminal illness. Is there anything I can do here? Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

I had a similar situation, but there is no restriction on visiting India. You can go to India and keep on checking the status from the USCIS tracking web site.
