need info about GC

hello all,

I have completed my masters in 2005 dec.
OPT (dec2005 to nov2006)& H1 from dec 2006.

I am working with only one employer since my OPT and filed my H1 through that company.

now my employer offer me to file my GC . They are charging $7000.00including attorney fees.

is it really worth paying?

before filing what are terms do i need to clarify with them.

my payment terms are : persentage basis 70/30
(no medical, no vaccation, no relocation, no bench salary)

they are not willing to increse salary % also.

I really appriciate ..seniors if you plz help me in this regrad..

Hello,

Working for 70/30 until you get your Green card is very bad deal, considering how much time it takes to get GC.

Since you are already on their pay roll, work till you have some paystubs on H1. There are lots of companies out there who can give you better percentage 80/20 and free GC. Once you have paystubs on H1, jump to better company.

I got my H1 & got stamped also .I have all my paystubs .
I have my own project in my hand , I mean i got project by my self .
can you please suggest me some good company names..80/20 with free GC.
