Chicago consulate - PIO question

I am applying for PIO for my new born daughter at Chicago consulate.

For Proof of Indian Citizenship, the website says
• Notarized copies of first two and last two pages of BOTH parents passports OR copies of their domicile certificates issued by the competent authorities
• Evidence of relationship with the applicant


Here, how can we show the evidence of relationship b/n us (me and my wife)and our daughter. Only her birth certificate has our names.

Birth certificate is mentioned as another required document in the list.

Please clarify

The reason it is separately listed is that spouses are also eligible . In that BC will not be enough for relationship would it. Or for adopted children etc.
