I am in USA on business visit for 3 months till august 2007. My passport gets expired by September 9 2007. For business purpose there is situation that I have to go to India by end of auguat and should be back in US within 2 weeks. During that visit I am not sure if I can get my passport reissued. Now I have enough time in USA and can I get my passport reissued in Indian Consulate at USA. I stay in a hotel in USA and can that be used as resident address. Also I donot have any green card or employee authorization number as requested in the passport application form.
