How can my R2 Visa holder wife can accept a serious offer to work, even sponsor the process to change status? Any advise what step to do what forms to fill?

R1 dependants CANNOT work

Whoever is offering her a job would need to apply for an H1 visa for her. And those are all accounted for for this year - she would need to wait and apply in April 2008.

The spouse of a religious worker may not work in the United States on a derivative R-2. If he or she is seeking employment, the appropriate work visa will be required.
