Employment Verification Letter

I received my GC last year and travelled to India in month of Feb'07 and came back to US in the month of March'07 this year and again in April'07 due to medical reason I had quit my GC sponsored employer after working for close to 1 year and travel to India,I vacated my apartment and did a change of address to my friend's place before travelling to India , I'm planning to come back before the 6 month period.

My question is will there be any problem at the POE as I don't have a job from any US employer? Is a employment verification letter required for a GC holder? Also will my frequent trips to India cause any problem at the POE?

as long as u have gc, u will not be asked any qustions at poe
