Applying for US Citizenship and having OCI card India. Can we still have farming land

Please help me with this so that I can decide if I can apply for US Citizenship..

If I apply for US Citizenship and then apply for OCI card in India can I still own farming land in India.

When I read terms on the OCI card it says I can do everything what an Indian citizen can do except that I cant vote and buy farming land ??

Does that mean I can have land if its already registered in may name ??

Does any know if there are any issues ??

the rules clearly state no agricultural properties. if you already have them, you will need to sell and cash out.

you can invest the cash in equities or other properties but not agricultural

honestly, i believe it's right. why would you an american citizen have agricultural property in india?

please just follow the rules properly.
