AP - how to use?

My Visa on the passport has expired. I am leaving the country on an emergency on 10/20. I have 3 copies of AP.

1. When and where should I show/handover AP copy?

2. While leaving the US, will I need to handover the expired I-94 card?

Could somebody help me please?

Give more details on your case. Are you adjusting to a PR? It seems so since you got an AP. YOu will present AP when you return to the US and maybe at another airport when you return. Example if you go through France to come back here, at the Airport say in Paris they check for visas to make sure you have one for the US. In this case, your AP will do it for you.

I hope now u must be in US. How was ur experience in using AP ?
I would appreciate if u can provide some details for using AP.I am in same situation . Planning to travel india on AP in April'04.
