RFE on EAD. Please help

I have an RFE on the EAD (signature card). Its more than 90days from RD. Is there a way to get an interim EAD from the local INS?

U can get u r interim EAD from local INS after 90 days of u r notice date.But u cannot work with interm EAD u have to wait till u get the original from INS.

You said you can get the interim EAD but you can not work with this card so why bother to have it?

It is true u r right.It is better to wait if u want to work on EAD till u get the original from INS.

Hi all
I applied through CSC(california service center)

My receipt date is 26/09/01
My notice date is 01/10/01
Ap approved on 29/12/01
RFE on EAD on 01/15/02 for Signature cards...My lawyer send the response to an RFE on 03/26/02.Not approved so far...i don't know how long it is going to take for the approval for EAD after an RFE.Any help will be appreciated.
Finger print done on 04/12/02.
Any one of you have any idea when the processing of I-485 begins after the finger printing.I check with FBI they said they already send the response to INS on the following day,Even i check with INS customer serviceshe told me they received the finger printing report from FBI.Any comments from U guys!!!

I 485 processing begins as soon as ur finger priting reuslts are sent. They may not have updated the online status. TRry callign the INS customer service .
