EAD issue

Hi all,

I filed my 485 in Dec 2001 and got my EAD in Jan 2002. I have filed for my extension of EAD in Oct 2002, well before 90 days of expiry.

1. What happens if EAD extension does not come?
2. In my 485, I attached only 1 affidavit for my birth details. Can I still get an RFE or have I crossed that stage considering that it is almost a year since the receipt date of 485 application?
3. In the event that RFE is likely to come, can EAD extension get held up?

Answer: U can go to the local INS office and ask for an extension. They normally give this immediately.

Hello,
I would like to have a small clarification with regards to Local INS since I moved from the state where my filing of I-485 was done to another state.

So can I go to the local INS which is near to my residence or should I go to the local INS near to my previous address?
