My Wife and kids are going to India on Jun 12th and their 485 are pending since June 2002. They also have AP which expire on Jun 1. For their trip to India we are planning to apply for i-131 for them. Now I have 2 questions :
1. Is there something like 1-131 renewal and if so do we have
to send the photos again ?
2. How long does the approval process take ?
3. When we went to India last time on Aug 13 2002 - Nov 10
2002 (On AP), we landed in LA (eventhough my address
was in San Francisco) and we had given our valid AP then
to the officers there at the airport. Now I plan to send my
family from San Francisco and also return direct from
Singapore to SFO. Is it OK or do they again have to go
thru LA immigration ONLY ???

I meant that thair AP expires on Jun 1 2003.

In the documentation I read there was conflicting info on where to file my families and my I-131. Last time when I sent it to Nebraska thet returned the application to me and asked me to send to CSC. My 485 is pending with CSC for the past 1 year. So can I send to PO Box 10485 in Laguna Niguel or is there anyother PO Box to send to in CSC.
Please let me know.

Hi,

First I would like to answer some of your questions

a) I know for sure there is no renewal scenario. So it's always applying for a new A.P.
b) 2 Photos that are taken very recently as per INS standards.

To add to that,
I am also in the similar situation, trying to send my family to India during June. The A.P. for my family expired in March 2003. I would also like to apply for I-131.

In this regard, I have the following questions
a) How do we answer Part7.
Please explain how you qualify for an advance parole and what circumstances warrant issuance of A.P.
b)What are all the documents needed to send to INS to support this petition?
c) Also my I-485 is pending with CSC and RD is Feb2002, What is the address to which I need to send these petitions?

Also my EAD will be expiring in July 2003,
a) Will I be able to get the renewal of EAD before July? As far as I know, I will not be able to continue the job until I get the EAD, but what are the alternatives for me to continue in job while waiting for EAD to get approved and come?
b) I downloaded the I-765 application form, does anyone apply for EAD renewal on their own, I would appreciate If I can get help from that person?
