I was born in USA 1n 1975 and returned to india when I was 6 months old baby and continued to stay in Inda.For 2years I lived in Brazil and then contined my education in india .I visited US as a transit passenger .Am I eligible for dual citizenship.Am I eligible for US citizenship.Thanks in anticipation.

Yes if you have proof of birth in USA then you can apply for US passport at nearest US consulate.

But if you are an Indian citizen you will have to relinquish the Indian passport and apply for OCI upon receipt of US passport as per Indian laws.

I have lost my original Birth certificate.I even do not have a xerox copy.but we have got some record that I was born there.I even do not have any passport.My name is included in my mothers passport .At that time they did not issue any pasport to me.

Depending on in which state in the U.S. you were born, you can get a copy of your birth certificate from the office of Vital Statistics or Vital Records.
