Confused on Travel using H1-B or AP

Hi

I applied I-485 for me and my spouse. I am working for the same employer and not taken any outside job. My spouse is not working at all. I am planning to travel to India. I have H1-B stamp on my passport valid till June 2002. I applied for EAD and AP along with my I-485. I received my EAD. I gave a copy of my EAD to my HR .My HR filed new I-9 form based on my EAD.

1) Now can I travel on my unexpired H1-B to India orI should use Advance Parole for reentry to US ?
2) Am i on EAD now ?

You can use AP to travel and still be in H1B status.
