EAD Renewal

Hi Immihelp,

I got my first EAD from VSC. The EAD application was sent along with my AOS application. Now I've to apply for the extension.
Where should I apply? Should I apply at VSC or at my local INS office (which is Hartford)?

I have a question regarding the filing address @VSC for EAD applications for Adjustment of status applicants (I-485). I'd really appreciate if you have some information/ suggestion regarding this.

We filed our I-765 applications for EAD renewal 2 weeks ago and have not got a receipt from INS VSC till now. I am afraid I may have sent our package to the wrong address.

The address I sent to is:
INS service center
P.O.box 9765
St.Albans
VT 05479-9765 (this was from I-765 instruction booklet).


Since we are I-485 applicants, are we supposed to send it to a different address?

Is this the address to which you sent your EAD renewal or did you file it in the local office?
