Hello!
I have a question regarding the filing address @VSC for EAD applications for Adjustment of status applicants (I-485). I'd really appreciate if anyone out here has some information/ suggestion regarding this.
We filed our I-765 applications for EAD renewal 2 weeks ago and have not got a receipt
from INS VSC till now. I am afraid I may have sent our package to the wrong address.
The address I sent to is:
INS service center
P.O.box 9765
St.Albans
VT 05479-9765 (this was from I-765 instruction booklet).
Since we are I-485 applicants, are we supposed to send it to a different address?
if yes, a) does the service center promptly send it to the right address?
b) Is it advisable to re-file it to avoid losing precious time?
c) is duplicate filing an issue?
We have 3 months and a week left before our current ead's expire.
