I need your help; my company sponsored and immigrant worker {Teacher} to work at our school, she received an I-797C form authorizing her to work but she hasn't received a Social Security card or number yet and she wants to start working without it and her attorney said there is absolutely no reason why she could n't start working without it until she gets it; is that true?

I've contacted an Immigrant attorney but he will not be available for consultation until next week can you help?
