Firstly, I would like to let you know how easy you made it for all of us applying for US citizenship to navigate through your site.

I have one question, my last name is different from my husband. I would like to change it to his last name now, if I say yes to name change in the N_400 form. Do I need to support this with other documentation. I do not have any other documentation. Would you please let me know how to go about this.

You need to provide your marriage certificate.

And it may take 6 more months to get your citizenship if you are going to change your name during citizenship.

What is the reason for an additional delay if spouse wishes to change name during citizenship process? My wife's GC is in her maiden name and your post makes me re-think whether we should request her name change during citizenship process.
