View Full Version : Consular Processing separate applications?

I filed separate I-130s for my father and mother with CP option checked (US citizen sponsoring parents) and recently both of them were approved and sent to NVC. Now my question is will NVC create two cases and assign case numbers and process them as two different cases (with separate timelines)? I would prefer if my mother is included as derivative beneficiary in my father's case so both get processed together. So, should I just ignore my mother's case number and include my mother in my father's case applications?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

Hi:

I did file two I-130 for my mom and dad, as two separate cases. They have been approved by NVC at the same time, and will have their CP in mumbai on June 16. Will post details latter.

3. IS THERE SOME THING THAT I SHOULD FILL ON I-130 FORM, SAYING CONSULATE PROCESS??

I APPRECIATE YOUR HELP
