Help Please

My daughter is a US citizen and she is sponsoring myself and my wife for GC under a family based GC. Could you clarify please whether my other two children (15yrs and 18yrs) will have to apply through an F4 petition separately, or whether they will be eligible for a GC automatically through me because they are minors ?

I believe that minors are covered by the parents GC ? But I’m not sure .

Thanks for your help.

Yes, your other 2 children can come along with you as minor dependents.

Look at www.immihelp.com/gc/family (http://www.immihelp.com/gc/family) for details.

a USC can file his parents in one petition and his brothers in seperate petitions, under category F4. thus, your minor children should not be petitioned as your derivative beneficiary.
on the other hand, you may petition them as soon as you become a LPR so that they may benefit earlier.
currently, a petition under 4 th category is taking more than 15 years.

"your minor children" must be read, "their minor children"
