hi

i am a moroccan , i live in usa , i got a toutism shengen visa from italian

consulate .

i planed to stay 15 days in italia and i will fly to my country .

so my question is if i need a round trip to enter italy or doesn't matter .

i dont know if the officer in the aoroport will ask me if i have a round-trip ticket.

@ espoir, its always gud to have the return ticket booked, when one goes for visiting to another country as it somehow convinces the VO abt ur return why not think abt an Open ticket ??

get the tkts for the complete trip, what they are looking for is your plans to eneter as well as exit the country, it does not necessarily have to be back to origin of journey

Yes you can take a one-way ticket and then book the rest of the journey from Italy. The officials in Italy "usually" don't ask for return tickets but where you'll stay and what funds do you have.

However, as the senior member WAITIN_TOOLONG has rightly suggested, it's always advisable to have the return tickets or your onward journey reservations when you land in Italy.

plz i have another question: i dont know if i can fly directly to another country shengen or my first entery should be to italy.

As per Schengen visa rules, you need to directly fly to the country whose consulate gave you the visa and what you declared on your forms.

However, there have been numerous cases where people fly directly to any other Schengen country and they walk in easily.

If you do so, be prepared to have all your documentation and information about your stay, funds, onward journey etc.
