Family based immegration - parents affidavit of marriage

I am neutralized citizen of US. My parents are here on visiting visa. I would like to sponsor them family based green card. But my parents do not have a marriage certificate, which is required for sponsoring father. Since my parents are already here, what are the procedures to get affidavit of marriage while they are here.

Affidavit should be done in India, by the people who would have witnessed their marriage.

I do need the same information. Can you explain, how and who need to sign the affidavit of marraige...
does it need to be notarized..any sample letter

marriage affidavit must be obtained in india.
For father , a person elder to him & closest relative
who has witnessed the marriage must sign the affdt&
must be notarised.Same for mother.Both should have seperate affidavit.If marriage registration cert is available
then no affdt is needed.
