Hello,
I applied for an EAD and my Notice Date was October 17,2007. Due to the immense amount of applications, I am worried I will not receive my EAD prior to my work starting January 2nd (exactly 11 weeks after notice date). I realize I should have applied earlier, like late August, but I had some passport issues and was not able to apply then. I was wondering if, as a Canadian citizen, I could travel home to Canada sometime in mid December, and obtain a TN visa at the border as a substitute for my EAD until it arrives?
