Dear Sir/Madam
Until 6 months ago , I was in the US on J-1 visa which was subject to 2 years home residency, so I left the US 6 months ago and enter the US now as a citizen of Canada.
In this condition, can I change my status to H-1 visa in the US as a Canadian citizen prior to completion of 2 years of home residency???
It is noteworthy to mention that my previous citizenship was Indian and I became citizen of Canada over the past 2 months.
