Hello, please help assist me with some information in regards to my question. I entered on 06/12/2006 with a J-1 visa which was valid until 09/12/2006. i have been here since and have yet returned back to my home country. i am married now to a USC and would like to adjust status, i am NOT subject to the 2 year residence requirement as it states on my ds-2019 "not subject to two year residence requirement". am i eligible to adjust status? i understand that i have overstayed, so would i need a waiver?
