I will be coming to NJ in feb.

I wanted to know Is International Driving Licence valid in NJ. that I will obtain here in India.

Is yes then please let me know.

you're here on a temporary visa, like visitor or business.

If you're on H1B or H4, then you can use your IDP for a certain amount of time period (gray area) but have to prepare for and plan to apply for a permanent NJ driver's license.

If you do use your IDP in United States, do remember to keep all your documentation with you when you're driving, this includes but is not limited to your passport, visa, any letter, document showing where you are staying etc.
