Urgent: Do they really need photocopies of all documents?

We have our interview tomorrow. The paper accompanying the interview notice says to bring "all documents and photocopies of those documetns". So do we need to take photocopies of Green card, passport etc. Do they really ask for photocopies of our original passport in the interview?

Interview done. Approved. They did not ask for any copies of passport or any other thing. The officer looked at Green card, Driver License, passports (wanted to see older expired cancelled passport too).

Copying all the pages of 4 passports (2 for each of us) the night before was not that much fun. :(
