Hi All,

I am GC holder and I have filed for my citizenship (N-400) recently. I am thinking of traveling outside US for a week, so will I have any problems returning back to US at the POE?

Please let me know.

Thanks!

I have traveled many times so far since I have submitted my N-400 in December. There was no issue at all. Keep a record of the dates you are out of country and bring that to the interview. Interviewing Immigration officer may ask to update your record. So long you meet your residency requirement, you should be fine.

... for sharing the positive experience.

As he mentioned, keep all possible documentation with you and a separate note of the dates of your out and in the country.

The documentation includes:

1. Airline tickets / e-tickets
2. Boarding passes
3. Stamps on your passport

etc.

Good luck.
