Please Help. I Aplied For Citizenship Based On Marige To A Us Citizen. I Had My Finger Prints Taken And Waited For Interview, But My Wife Divorced Me And Im Still Waiting For Interview. Im 5 Years Resident Already But I Aplied For Cit. Based On Marige To Us Citizen. Will My Aplication Be Denied And Should I Already Aply Again For Citizenship So I Don't Waist Time Waiting For Interview And Then Get Dennied Or I Have A Chance To Get Aproved Even If Im Divorced Already. I Hate To Spend Another 675 Usd For Annother Aplication. Thank You Very Much For Help;)

did you apply after 5 years as a resident or 3 years as a resident?

because basically you do not apply based on marriage, that is only for permanent residency... the only problem is if you applied 3 years as a resident, because that was a benefit due to being married to an US Citizen.

Other than that, your citizenship will be judged on moral character, civic tests, interview, etc. Not whom you are married to.

ok when i aplied i was only resident for 4 years that's why i aplied based on marige to us citizen and my interwiew will be probably when i'll be resident for 5 years but divorced if you know what about i'm saying. so will they accept that or do i have to apply again. please help me decide thank you

I am not sure if they will accept it. You will just have to wait and see.
