visa ending but opt is available!

Hi,
I have visa that is valid till May 15th 2008.

I have applied for my OPT which starts on July 1st.

Now I have new i20(from OPT) which has extended my date in i20.

My question is that from May 15th onwards I do not have a visa.

Will this be a problem for me to saty here/apply for H1/ go out of US etc.??

If you are referring to the visa stamp in the passport, that is not required. Its ok if it expires. You need new visa stamp only if you are going to travel during that period outside the US and try to enter back into US. As long as you are going to stay in the US, visa stamp is not required.

Hi,
My OPT session is from september 2007-september 2008. I didn't get a job yet. I have two questions?
1)If I get a job after H1b visa application deadline can I continue the Job after my OPT expiration date?
2) I heard that there are also few different types of jobs which don't requre to follow H1 visa application deadline. Would you please tell me what kind of jobs they are?
