im Turkish citizen living and working in United States with Green Card since 8 months. im planning to visit to Nederlands by schengen visa on May but let me explain my flight schedule

american airlines (roundtrip) : New York (jfk) to London (Heathrow)
easy jet airlines (roundtrip) : London (Heathrow) to Amsterdam (Schipol)

as you see im going to go to Nederlands with two different airline company from the same airport (Heathrow) in London. im going to have almost 7 - 8 hours to catch the Nederlands flight and i dont want to go out from the airport i asked some travel agencies some told me i have to get transit visa becouse im going to change the airline company, some told me i dont have to get transit visa becouse of my green card.
i really confused about this point so if its possible for you could you please inform me that do i need any kind of transit visa to catch my flight to Nederlands.

Waiting your kindly replay.
