Does Canadian Citizen on EAD need AP?

I work on EAD but my advance parole is expiring. do i need to extend AP or canadian passport would do for reentry.. i had a mixed responses but i need to know the correct answer. thanks in advance.

You have to extend AP for the fact that I485 will be considered abandoned if you travel without it. It is okay if you are travelling on a non-immigrant visa like L1/H1 etc.

Otherwise, you need AP.
