Dear Sir/Madam

I am looking for full worldwide health insurance to cover myself (a uk passport holder), my partner (a us passport holder) and my soon to be born son (uk passport holder - wil become dual citizen of US and UK within a year). We all reside in the UK for approximately 8-9 months of the year travelling to the USA for approximately 3 months per year. I therefore wondered if we can all be eligible for the same plan or whether we have to go on separate plans. What I need to clarify before I look any further into either plan is exactly what we are covered for especially in terms of the UK and the US as it is mainly in these two countries we currently spend our time. We do travel to other countries also throughout the year mainly for business trips or holidays also. What I also need to know is if under any of the eligibles policies that if any of us needed medical care in the USA then there is a list of PPO network hospitals which should be our first port of call in such a situation - I have looked these up and there are lots all around the country which is great. However as I\'m sure you can appreciate the medical system in the UK is very different to the States. Of course there is the NHS which is obviously our \'free healthcare\' however I need to know if this policy covers private medical care for us all in the UK. Therefore I basically need to know how this policy works in terms of if I become ill in my home country (the UK). What is included in the policy and do I have access to private care hospitals/doctors in the UK, and indeed abroad. For example what is the difference in terms of the UK between what is offered by this policy and for example taking out a UK only policy - forgetting for a moment this includes worldwide cover. Basically would I have to retain my existing UK cover or would this policy be sufficient to cover me in the UK for private healthcare. For example if I sprain my ankle in the UK and need some physiotherapy, would this plan cover me to see a private physiotherapist with referal from my Doctor in the UK? And finally if I did travel to europe or elsewhere in the world, again do these policies allow us access to any private healthcare. I look forward to hearing from you,

narendra

You can buy Reside Prime for all 3 of you. However, you can't buy this insurance while you are pregnant.

As long as you stay out of US for 6 months for more, it is fine.

You can either choose Worldwide coverage or Worldwide excluding US/Canada.

In US/Canada: If you go in the PPO network, insurance company pays 100% after the deductible. If you go out of the network, after the deductible, insurance company pays 80/20 for first $5,000 and then 100%.
You can search for PPO network at http://www.insubuy.com/sevencorners/resideprime/network.jsp
Outside US/Canada: After deductible, insurance company pays 100%. It is the same coverage in UK or in other places in Europe. You can visit private hospitals, no problem.

You can buy it online at https://www.insubuy.com/sevencorners/resideprime/
