Qus about interview & oath at Fairfax, VA/ Washington D.C. FO??

We have an interview on Sat morning. Does this office (Fairfax, VA) have oath on same day. If yes, does anybody know the timing. If not, do they do it next day (but it would be Sunday) or do they send a letter for next day.

How long does the whole process take?

Please help as I need to make childcare arrangement for toddler and an infant. I'm worried about my infant's ability to saty with somebody for a long time.

Also do they allow little kids during oath ceremony?

Expect to spend the whole day there.

They allow small kids there. However, it is best to make another childcare arrangement as this is a serious matter and children won't be able to tolerate this for the whole day.

So does that mean that they have afternoon oath ceremony on Sat also?

Do they have it every Sat afternoon or some Sat.

I wish there was a way to find out about the oath ceremony rather than waiting until last minute. We don't have family in the area so we'll have to leave sitter hanging and say... "yeah we might come back in the afternoon or we may come back in the evening." :( especially hard for little babies.


I was thinking of leaving kids home for the interview and then come back during the break take kids and drive back for the oath ceremony. Would that work?

I am not sure whether there is any way to their schedule in advance. You will have to just go by whatever they say and whenever they ask you to come back.
