Child Citizenship

Hello,
I am naturalized US citizen and my wife is Indian citizen. We are going to be proud parents in coming months. My questions are:
1. Will my child become US citizen based on my status?
2. If yes, then how should I bring him / her here in States?
3. If no, then what is the procedure for citizenship?

I am assuming child will be born outside the US. outside the US.

1. Yes.
2. With child's birth certificate, go to the US embassy/consulate and report the birth abroad, they will give you his/her US passport. Travel with that.
