Hello,
Has anyone being asked for their tax transcripts at the spouse based N400 interview ?
I did not send mine with the application and my interview notice has not asked for them either eventhough it is listed among the document checklist with everything else provided.
Imput appreciated.
Thanks

I was not asked for them, but I did take the last 5 years' transcripts with me to the interview along with a 1040 printout for 2007.

... you can take copies of the last three years of your tax returns.
They're not required though as they can and do check with IRS.
Good luck.

So they check with IRS about your tax returns? I am getting naturalized as a spouse of US citizen and when we first got married, I did not work for a while and had no income, so did not file anything and we have joint tax returns since then, (the past 2 years). I am just thinking about bringing what I have and have my spouse explain about the first year of our marriage if they will care.

... they do not ask for any financial documents. However, it's always a good practice to carry whatever you have.
They've already check with all the major US agencies and got all the information they want.
Good luck.
