Incorrect I-140 approval

I had asked for CONSULAR PROCESSING(Chennai, India) in my I-140 application..
Instead the INS approved the I-140 for REGUALR ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS..
Has anyone heard of such cases before..
What is the fix?
Which INS office do you contact?

If you asked them in the first place (before they approved it), you should ask them to correct.(your service center).

If you asked them too late, you would have to file I-824.
