My I-140 is applied, waiting for the approval. In the I-140 application, in part4 my consulate is mentioned as Bombay( Not mentioned exclusive CP). My previous(first) H1 was obtained from there. I belong to Madras consulate(from Karnataka). Do I need to change this if I opt for Consular processing??. Will Bombay accept my case otherwise. Please advice.

There are lot of factors which determine your consulate jurisdiction. Please read the info about CP on this web site to decide.
Thanks for the information, I went through the site, but it did not answer my question.
1) My previous employer had requested for Bombay consulate, hence my first H1 is from there.
2) But, I have never resided or studied from that jurisdiction.
3) My consulate is Madras.
4) If I am going for AOS, the name in part 4, will it matter?
5) If I am doing Cp will it matter??

In that you would have to go to Chennai.
For AOS, part 4 does not matter.
For CP, it does.
