One of my friends is now working legally with visa J-1 with 2 year-home-residency rule which expires in February 2009 (actually she is working under academic training program granted for Master degree). The question is after she leaves the United States, can she LEGALLY work from home country for current US company and still get paid? If not, can she receive the bonus for year 2008 without any trouble?
