Hi,

I have my 10-year green card, we have been married for several years, and I filed an n400 for naturalization in March. I filed under 319b because of our long term overseas employment with an eligible US nonprofit organization. I did not know I coud submit findgerprints with the application at the time. I have now had the fingerprints done at the US embassy where we live, but do not know where to send them. The embassy employees do not know either as they have not done fingerprints for an n400 before.

Where should we send them?

Directly yo the FBI (the embassy gave us a return envelope to the FBI)?

To the Texas Service Center where we originally filed my n400?

To the Orlando field office which has been trying to get me to fly back to the US just to do fingerprints, since our US address is in their region?

Anyone with similar experience with fingerprints filing an N-400 under section 319b?

Thank you,

Barbara

Have you tried calling the USCIS Hotline at 1-800-375-5283 ?

There is also a line for Military members and they see 319 b cases more often and you could try to call them to see if they will answer that for you:
1-877-247-4645. It's worth a try.

I would send your fingerprints to the Service Center. My advice would be to send your fingerprints with a detailed letter including your receipt number, a copy of your receipt of your N400 application if you have one, your Alien number and an explanation of your situation and that you would like the fingerprints to be attached to your case file to be processed accordingly. Give them as much information as possible.
