180 days on I485

Hi there,

My 180 days are completed since I filed for I485. My case is being processed in Nebraska and I am currently in M***aukee, WI. Can I change my job and take a job in San Francisco, CA. The job title is the same but salary is higher. Would I need to tranfer my case from Nebraska to California Service Center.

Please let me know. I really need help.

You can always take up a job anywhere in the United States. Why don't you check with your attorney or INS abt. transferring the case. I don't think you need to transfer the case.
If you receive all communication from INS directly you have to update your address.
