How to use current company exp. to apply in EB2?

I had 4 years exp. before joining the current company and now after working one year in this company,5 years total( + BS.) Is there any way I can Apply in EB2 with the same employer, using the 1 year exp. with the current employer? I have heard that if the job description in LC is totaly different, then I can do that. How different is totally different? Say computer Programmer and Project manager? Is there any definite guideline on this?

You can use your experience in current company if job titles are programmer and manager as you mentioned.
