Hi there,
I wrote earlier regarding my problem with JI visa.
I had my interview last month in Delhi where the officer asked me to mail them some documents and told me that everything looks good. I was not given section 212 (g) handout and my passport was kept by the embassy. However, days and weeks passed and I did not hear from them. finally, I contacted them and they told me that my application has been send for administrative processing to US department of state; they did not give me any specific reason.
One possible reason I think could be that I do not have any final decision on 'two year rule' on my DS-2019 form. It could be possible, but I am not sure. If this is the reason, also I do not know what is the time frame for this decision to be made
If anybody has any ideas, it would be highly appreciable.
