My Adjustment Of Status for Green Card was in final stage and USCIS has raised an issue about 2 year requirement of J1 visa. I came to US in 98 on J1 visa from UK, homecountry is India. I lost my original passport with attached DS 2019 around 5 years ago & now I dont have any record of the DS-2019/IAP 66 form. I contacted the university but they mentioned that they shred all records after 3 years.
I have been told by my attorney that in order to submit the waiver application, I need IAP 66 form. What are my options? Is there any way out???
