take desktop to india - on Intl. Flight

Hi,

I will be travelling to India on this Sunday. I have a desktop machine (new one) in the box which I want to take to India.

Can someone suggest me if this is going to be a major hassle or it actually is not much of a hassle which people think it is ?

Machine costed me $224 of which I have a receipt. I am not carrying monitor.

Not a hassle as long as you meet the weight restrictions on the luggage. May get damaged if not packed properly.
