from reading all these posts , i feel that buying fixed coverage is no good. BUT is comprehensive insurance good. also is there any plan where u can pay month to month.

one more question .
if someone has high BP... then if he has some problem can the insurance say that this is because of BP and this is a pre existing condition etc etc . my point is that 99% of the time an elderly person will have a problem , i hope they dont link it to a pre existing condition

Fixed coverage is a low cost plan and it pays a set maximum amount for each procedure. Your initial premiums will be low but if you get sick or injured, your out of pocket maximums may be high.

It is much better to buy comprehensive coverage. You have to pay the deductible once, after that insurance company pays 80%-20% for first $5,000 expense, and after that, it pays 100% up to policy maximum for all eligible expenses. Therefore your out of pocket maximum is deductible plus $1,000.

Whether something is related to pre-existing condition or not will be based upon the attending physician's report, test results and your unique case and its situation. Based on all that information, claims adjuster determines whether it is a pre-existing condition or not.

If you would like to purchase $50,000 comprehensive coverage and would like to pay month by month, look at Liaison International.

If you would like to purchase $500,000 comprehensive coverage and can pay at least 3 months initially and then pay month by month, you can take look at ExPatriot Plus or Diplomat LT too.

All of those plans are available for instant purchase at www.immihelp.com/insurance (http://www.immihelp.com/insurance)
