My mother-in-law's B-1 visitor VISA got rejected - reason was that she is attemtping to come back after her recent return from US in Aug 2003. Inspite of the factthat, she is employed in India, is travelling alone (my father-in-law is staying back) she got a rejection. (She did not over stay anytime during her previous visits)

SHOULD WE MENTION THE FACT THAT SHE IS COMING BACK TO USA SOON BECAUSE WE ARE EXPECTING A BABY - SHE IS ONLY PLANNING TO STAY FOR 2 MONTHS. We cannot think of abetter reason to give (without lying!). I will appreciate it - If someone cans share their experience on a similar situation.

Thanks!

Purpose of tourist(visitor) visa should be for tourism.

If you mention pregnancy, high chance of rejection.
