clarification on visitor visa

Hello Immihelp,

I need some clarifications. My H1 is getting expired on 12th August this year. Can i sponsor visitor visa for my mother in law now. I had sent all the required documents to her and she visited the consulate on 19th, but her visa has been rejected under the grounds that my H1 s getting expired in August. Please let me know what r the chances of getting a visa for her in her next visit in March. Can she request for visa for 3 - 4 months. If so..how can she put it at the time of interview

That's strange reason to reject visa.

yes, she can apply in March and she can put duration like 3-4 months in form.
