Regarding Birth Certificate

Hi,

I am sponsering my MIL. I have my wife's original birth certificate here with me. Do I have to send original birth certificate or photocopy of the birth certificate ?

Also you have mentioned in your requirement that, birth certificate is required only for those who have interview at Mubai consulate. So, for chennail consulate Birth certificate is required ?

If we have mentioned that original birth certificate is required at Mumbai, means it is required there. It does not necessarily mean it is not required anywhere else. Just that we are not aware.
